My wife and I approached Jagan for an overnight 4wd Jeep tour into the mountains. Straight away, he began to help us and started suggesting certain places we could go within the timeframe we put forward. He managed to craft up a wonderful trip into the lower mustang region where we were able to visit Kagbeni and Muktinath and marvel at the amazing landscape and mountains. We even had time to stop by the hot springs. It was all very well organised- our food and accomodation was all sorted and all we had to worry about was taking pictures! Our driver, Ramesh, was a great guide who answered our questions and stopped whenever we wanted to take a photo. He had very good English and He drove very well and professionally and always made sure we had what we needed such as water and food. Overall, we were extremely happy with Jagan and the team and would highly recommend a 4wd Jeep tour with Jagan to anyone who wants a great time seeing the mountains! Thanks to Jagan, Ramesh and the team.

Friends recommended that I do a mountain bike tour with PMBA. The tour recommendation, advice on what I would need for the 7 days, the mountain bike and the other necessary equipment was top notch! I went to the Lower Mustang area for 7 days on a private tour with a guide and porter. I was able to go on longer day tours if I wanted. The program is also tailored to your personal level. Both the guide and porter were very motivated and did a great job! I can highly recommend both the company and the mountain bike tour!

Touring with PMTBA is nothing short of a 5 star experience! I trekked by mountain bike to Thurong-La pass (5416m). The team of guides and porters made the experience feel completely safe while stretching and challenging me to go beyond what I thought I could do! I could focus on the experience and memories travelling through the incredible Himalayan mountain evokes. This team are the best when it comes to looking after their guests and the equipment you are using. If you want a challenge with the right people on hand if something goes wrong, you have to go with this team.

2 of us recently did the Lower Mustang tour over the Christmas and New Year break. Can’t be happier that we chose Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure, having stumbled across them on google. This is an extremely well and smoothly run local operator. We were taken good care of from the beginning to end by Jagan’s very warm and friendly team, and benefited hugely from their local expertise. For the cycling, we opted for 2 days in Pokhara as warm up, then 8 days up in the mountains. Most days involved a mix of jeep track and singletrack with changing breathtaking scenery from lakes, icy peaks, strange rock formations with caves, big hills, river, gorge, forest… Though road-bikers at heart, we thoroughly enjoyed every single day and embraced the switch to MTB in this beautiful Himalayan setting, going over mountain passes, cycling through small mountain villages, stream crossings… Our guide Suman was an incredible rider (a professional MTB racer) and immense fun. He coped well with us having mixed levels. I was the less confident rider having never tried MTB before but felt completely safe under his guidance - he made good judgement on which parts to walk, helped me carry my bike for the really steep parts, and even gave us free coaching! We took the riding at quite a leisurely pace (usually all before lunch), and had plenty of time to take in the scenery, take photos, stop off at temples and villages etc. But there was also ample opportunity for additional riding in the afternoon. This flexibility made the trip so relaxing and enjoyable, in stark contrast to organised group cycling trips that we’ve done in the past. Also cannot recommend enough traveling during this Christmas holiday period to avoid the crowd. We had clear skies daily, and the mountains and guest houses all to ourselves! It did get cold at night up at high altitude, but the day time temperature for riding was perfect.

We booked a multi-day trip mountain biking Lower Mustang and absolutely loved it! It was an excellent way to get to see the countryside in Nepal and having Jagan's team manage all of the logistics of transportation, lodging, and food made it so much more relaxing. We rented full-suspension bikes that were very nice and well maintained. Our guide was a strong rider that did a great job navigating us through all the different trails and jeep tracks that wind around all over the countryside.

I had an amazing experience with Jagan's team. You aren't renting a bike, you are being taken care of. Jagan created a beautiful tailored trip to Lower Mustang based on my timeline and single trail wishes. Perfectly balanced and challenging. The flight into Jomsom just makes it unforgettable. I'm going to stop spoiling here. Photos speak for themselves. I really recommend to anybody who loves a good mtb/downhill adventure to directly contact Jagan and not waste your time booking from Kathmandu. You save a lot of extra costs, annoying nickel-and-diming, in addition to having a nice team taking care of you right on the spot. Thanks again for an unforgettable time. Looking forward being back for a longer ride next year.

I had the priviledge to to do the lower mustang trip as a solo rider and this trip went well beyond my expectations! First of all, i have to say that the service provided by MTB Pokhara was excellent. They were very flexible and caring about my needs, what I like to ride, how long i want to ride for etc.. My guide Loksman was very friendly, very good rider and always looking for some cool technical trails or dream singletracks that i loved to ride! The riding experience itself was excellent, it was just like riding these dream trails u can see in MTB magazines or on youtube.... I improved a lot my riding skills, both technically and physically. (NB: i wasnt very fit before i started the trio and yet i could keep up and the guide adapted every day s route to my current physical condition...) The sceneries, villages, guesthouses, NEPAL...it was a real voyage and life experience. I highly recommend this trip, and i will personnaly go again ride in Nepal! And again, many thanks to MTB Pokhara for this outstanding mtb holidays!!!

We've now completed a seven day MTB adventure in the lower Mustang region, and this trip could not have been more inspiring! Our guide, Santaram, was not only hilarious, but took care of us every step of the way, from making sure we were surviving the intense ascents, to lining up the sweet single tracks, to sharing his knowledge of the local villages, flora, history, and future projects. His work ethics and dedication went beyond and above from cleaning and lubing our bikes every night, to helping out in the kitchens at each and every tea house/lodge in which we stayed. This company has worked hard to create not only a great experience for its clientele, but to create a strong and positive foundation for itself in the surrounding community. And they can talk bikes for days. Would definitely recommend, whether your interest is a single day, overnight, or expedition.

From the first conversation with Jagan in Pokhara, we knew we wanted to go on a multi day trip with Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure. The office was easy to find and Jagan was happy to discuss what our best options were seeing as it was monsoon season. He really went out of his way to show us what was available and cater to what we wanted to do as we had done some research on their website. The team were very accommodating and flexible with the weather. We had planned to fly to Jomsom, but the weather had a different idea. So we went trekking instead, Jagan kindly organised a ride for us to get dropped off with Dan and our guide Sumon. One week later we returned from ABC to go mountain biking. Jagan had been in contact with us via email the whole time and he came to our motel the night before to check we were organised for the following morning. After another couple of days of cancelled flights because of the rain we decided to jeep as far as we could to start our journey to Jomsom. Dan is an amazing jeep driver (hard to find in Nepal) and he got us as far as he could to an impassable landslide. From there, our guide got our bikes all sorted for us and helped to transport them over the landslide. We had a great day of riding and stopped at our first camp Tatopani, here we had a hot swim. The accommodation and meals were excellent throughout the trip. The next day was a tough slog up hill 1200m climb but with lots of breaks and a very patient guide we made it to Jomsom for the night. Our guide and extremely fit porter- Tom went out of their way to get buses for us when we were too tired to carry on. The following day was spent at Muktinath where we were lucky enough to get shown around all the different temples. The culture is rich in the mountains and it was nice to have a more restful day. The next day was our favourite day riding down hill through the Lubra Valley. I highly recommend this trip - spectacular!! Words cannot describe how amazing this was. Forever i will have incredible memories of the views and tracks. Our guide was very experienced and able to cater for different levels (me being not as skilled as my friend). We had an awesome downhill day and ready for another hot pool. The following day was only a couple of hours riding to our Jeep and then back to Pokhara. Jagan was excited to hear of our adventures and see our photos. The whole experience couldn't have been made better, the team at Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure go over and above the call of duty. It is a trip of a life time and one i will never forget. Thanks heaps!! Nikki and Jacqui

This was on of the best adventures in our life ! Jagan, Dhan, Sumon & Lax took great care of us and allowed us to experience unbelieveable Mustangr terrain without any hassle. Even India petrol export ban was not able to stop the guys who traveled to India to buy gasoline to make sure they our trip goes as planned. Unbelievable views, fantastic people , great food and escape from daily rushed life. Definitely will come back for more.
I did a mountain bike trip through the lower mustang in December 2019 - i could not recommend Jagan and the team (Dhan, Uncle and Laxman) highly enough. From the first communication with Jagan, my mind was at ease, everything was taken care of, from the pick up at Kathmandu airport, all accommodation and everything else imaginable. They were very flexible to my requests and let me do the trip exactly how i wanted to, cycling more or less each day, as required. The riding was sensational, as a first time mountain biker Dhan picked the routes appropriate for my skill, which were stunning, with the bike being of a very good quality with a dropper post. The trip was not without hiccups, our flight to Jomsom was cancelled so a jeep was arranged instantly for us to drive there. I had a mechanical issue purely from my own stupidity, so a new part was flown to Jomsom, so riding could continue the next day. If your're looking for your next adventure - use Pokhara Mountain Bike Adventure, hopefully soon when things return to normal.
