Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to the land of Himalayan country. Our representative will attend you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to the hotel in the busy town of Thamel. Your arrival time decides the day: Either rest in the hotel or go for a short walk around the town. 

Day 2

After having the breakfast in the hotel, you will be driving or flying (depends on the package booked) to the most beautiful town of Nepal, Pokhara. The drive takes you through the stunning landscapes ofm id-hilly region of Nepal and takes around 6-7 hours to reach Pokhara. However, the scenic flight takes around 30 minutes to land in the land of amazement.

Day 3

Today is the beginning of your dream holiday in the Himalayas of Nepal. We will kick off early morning after breakfast in Pokhara. We will be riding along the main highway for some time and skip it to inner streets that leads us to Begnas Lake, and Bhorletar where we will have local delicacy for the lunch. After lunch we will commence on our bikes to the intense climb of the day and descend down to Sundar bazaar through several villages and amazing landscapes. We will stay the night in a hotel in Sundar Bazaar.
 
Biking hours: 6 to 7hours.

Day 4

Leaving Sundar Bazar, we reach Besisahar biking a few miles uphill. Along the way,we will see many waterfalls, and  villages with different ethnicities and lifestyles. Higher we climb better the views of the mountains like Lamjung, Manaslu, and other peaks. In a few hours, we will have lunch at Ngadi. After lunch we will continue our ride to Syange where we will stay the night.
 
Biking Hours: 6 to 7 hours.
Distance: 50 Km Approx.

Day 5

Today is quite some uphill biking along with dramatic sceneries that makes the day beautiful. Higher we climb, better the views of the mountains like Annapurna, Lamjung, Manaslu, and other peaks. We will have lunch stop at Dharapni, the village located on the confluence of Marshyangdi and Dudh khola in  Manang district. Feel the Alps and mountains in this place. After the lunch, we will continue our biking journey towards Chame with intense climb from Danaque to Timang. After Timang, the ride is much gentle. We will stay overnight at Chame village, the district headquarter of Manang.
 
Biking Hours: 6 to 7 hours.
Distance: 40 Km Approx.

 

Day 6

Today we are getting higher into the thin area. The ride leads us through lush pine forests and amazingly beautiful villages along the river Marshyangdi. We will traverse the Apple Orchard of Bharatang and continue our uphill biking to Dhikkur Pokhari, where we will get one of the best views of the mountains. After Dhikur Pokhai the ride is comparatively easier in terms of technical difficulty. However, the altitude makes it harder to paddle gradual climb to Manang. We will stay the night in a lodge at Manang.

Biking Time: 5-6 hours
Distance: 32 Km Approx.

Day 7

Today, you'll embark on a breathtaking adventure on the true Himalayan trails, leaving behind the lush forests and low elevations. As you gear up for thinner air and challenging terrains, it's important to pace yourself and savor the breathtaking beauty of the mountains. This is your chance to witness the grandeur of the Himalayas and adjust to the altitude gradually. Your mountain biking journey will take you through grazing yaks and other wildlife, leading you to Yak Kharka where you will stay the night in a local tea house. Get ready for an unforgettable experience!

Day 8

Today, we will begin on a thrilling mountain biking adventure, where we will encounter a range of obstacles and awe-inspiring sights. With a shorter distance, the blue sheep, vultures, and other wildlife will be in abundance. The single tracks and rocky terrain will present a challenge, but the views along the way will be worth it. We will cruise alongside the river, traverse a quaint bridge, and tackle the steep ascent to Thorong-la Phedi, the starting point for the ascent to Thorong-la Pass. Throughout the journey, we may encounter horses and donkeys carrying supplies, adding to the authentic Himalayan experience.

Day 9

You will set up on an Epic Adventure with Us Today! Rise and shine at 4am for a challenging, yet exhilarating mountain biking experience. We have to get ready to tackle the strenuous trail and conquer the heights as we push and carry our bikes to the summit of Thorong-La Pass. Every step is worth savoring as you reach new heights in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Rejoice in the breathtaking panoramic views from the summit and bask in the glory of reaching such an incredible milestone. Recharge and refresh as you ride down to the charming village of Muktinath, the heavenly place for salvation through 108 water spouts and eternal flame. Day 10

Embark on an unforgettable mountain biking journey from Muktinath to Kalopani and be awestruck by the stunning views of the Himalayas. You will start your journey in the spiritual town of Muktinath, renowned for its temples and monasteries. The climb to Lupra Pass will test your skills with its steep inclines, loose gravel, and rocky paths, but it will all be worth it as you reach the top. The downhill descent presents a perfect combination of technical and flowy single trail, making it ideal for experienced riders. Soak in the panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges as you reach Kalopani, and bask in the thrill of an adventure through the heart of the Himalayas.

Day 11

Today, we commence on a thrilling mountain biking journey from Kalopani to Kushma through the captivating Himalayan foothills. After fueling up with a nutritious breakfast, we'll embark on a thrilling downhill ride through the heart of the world's deepest George, surrounded by the towering Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri mountains. The off-road trails will test our skills, leading us through the breathtaking Kaligandaki River valley, dotted with picturesque villages and stunning landscapes. Once, we reach Beni we will have to forcefully follow the main highway to Kushma where we will stay the night.

Distance: 82 Km Approx.
Time: 6-7 Hours 

Day 12

Today’s ride is mostly on the main highway on the tarmac road. There will be some traffic along the way. However we will be rewarded with amazing landscapes and beautiful villages along the ride. The first bit of the ride is mostly downhill all the way up to Nayapul. And after Nayapul, we will have to go for another challenge of 12 Km constant climb to Kande. After Kande we will downhill all the way up to the Pokhara valley and ride back to the bike store. Here the trip ends and we bid a reluctant farewell.

Day 13

Today marks the end of your adventure with us. After the hearty breakfast you will be driving or flying (depends on the package booked) back to Kathmandu. Your last day stay in Kathmandu will be covered by the package (accommodation and breakfast). However, if you choose to lengthen your stay, all the charges shall be covered by you.

Mountain biking in Annapurna circuit can be done all year round (if you don't mind rain during monsoon, June to August) excluding Dec-Feb. But the best seasons to set on for mountain biking are March to May and September to November.

The distance for mountain biking in Annapurna Circuit depends on where you start. Basically, if you start the trip from Besisahar and end in Beni the distance is approximately 200 Km. However, if you start the trip from Pokhara and end in Pokhara the distance for Annapurna Circuit mountain biking is more than 280 Km.
