A cross country ride that takes you a little further afield out of Pokhara & into some wild Nepali landscapes.
Ride out through Pokhara’s streets before getting into the hills to the East. Climb up on the double track into green hills before passing through the village of Arba (there is a more direct route for those wanting to make the ride a little shorter). Then enjoy a descent down into the flat bottomed river valley on double track with some single track options.
Cross the river and start the longer climb up the other side for some of the best mountain views around. Join the quiet, paved road for the final climb up to the village of Kalikastahan then revel in the well earned, speedy descent back down to the valley floor enjoying fast, rocky & single track trails taking you back to the outskirts of Pokhara.
With clear weather you’ll get rewarded by some of the best views around of the stunning Annapurna Range.
Experience traditional Nepali countryside and some of the wilder landscapes in the area including a river crossing.
- Ride on some of the famous ‘Royal Trek’, named after the visit from Great Britain’s Prince Charles.
We normally start and finish in our shop in Hallan Chowk, Pokhara.
- A slightly longer day ride for those with a little more ‘juice’ in the tank!
- Non-technical ‘Jeep track’ climb (although you’ll be lucky to see any jeeps!)
- Enjoyable double track downhill with single track choices to suit your ability.
