Pokhara Mountain Bike Center was established in 2003 jointventurly by French and Nepalese in order to promote mountain biking as a sport in Nepal. This is the first legally registered mountain biking guided tour organizing company in Pokhara and the first ever mountain biking school and play ground for disadvantage children of Nepal to share our passion and expertise to make them train, mountain biking skills, basic English tuition and educational support to be a good mountain bike rider and a responsible citizen of the country to participate in world class races and to be an entrepreneur to contribute for self, community, Nation and finally to the environment and the world. The idea evolved from a Nepali entrepreneur Mr. Jagan Biswakarma and French professional mountain bike rider Tangi to share the passion of mountain biking in a beautifully created land situated as paradise to do mountain biking in Nepal.

The Pokhara valley and its surrounding is a paradise to do mountain biking where we have explored the best scenic cross- country ride through wonderful landscapes, beautiful single-tracks through people walking foot trails on hills, and hair raising down hill/free ride through subtropical jungles. We are different in a way to serve people. We do organize mountain biking guided tours and while at the same time we also promote mountain biking in Nepal. We do not look glamour but we do serve people glamorously while guiding tours. Our identity is very specific which is only driven by mountain biking we don’t mess with other things. It is the best country to do mountain biking and being a responsible citizen of the world we must insist the responsibility on our shoulder to save the environment for our future generation. Encouraging people to ride bicycle all over the world. By doing mountain biking activities, training to those disadvantage group of children and organizing mountain biking tours will also enhance Tourism especially in insolated and remote villages of Nepal that will consequently contribute in socio-economic and educational development of Nepal. Being a Native of Pokhara and its surround we are aware of weather, type of mud and velocity of the mountain biking.
